Flower girl dress? Check!

Got to check another thing off my to-do list for the wedding today. We bought Bella's flower girl dress! We had her try it on to make sure it fit okay, and after prancing around and looking at herself in the mirror for a few minutes, she didn't want to take the thing off! Let's hope she feels the same way on our actual wedding day. ;)

Big fat LOSERS

Just found out today that Lenny and I didn't win the Flaunt Your Rock contest - couple #3 won. Dang! Oh well, at least we were one of the finalists. Thanks to everyone for voting for us!!!

Owie owie owie

Oh emm geeeeeee. Had to do our pushup test and situp test yesterday morning at boot camp. (2 min to do as many of each as you could) Abs are soooooooooo sore today. I can barely move. Seriously.

I survived!

So my friend Val and I signed up for this boot camp challenge a couple weeks ago, and today was the first day of boot camp. I am happy to report I am still standing. Luckily, 1/2 the class was spent going over paperwork and getting measurements. Had it not been for the measurements, I may have collapsed of sheer exhaustion - we had to be there at 6:00 am, and this is the day after Daylight Savings Time when we already lost an hour of sleep. AHHHH! There were some "veterans" there who had done the bootcamp before, so while all us newbies were doing paperwork, the veterans worked out. At one point, I heard the instructor tell them to do 100 pushups. I about picked up my stuff and walked out right then and there. Are you KIDDING me? I can do maybe like 5 pushups. 100 is unheard of! This should be an interesting 6 weeks....

Self portraits at the park

When Bellz was here a couple weeks ago, we had our first taste of spring. And let me tell you...we ate it UP!!! We were outside as much as possible that weekend, even though it was still a tad chilly. It felt SOOOO nice compared to the 40 degree weather we were having though. At the park, we tried our hand at some self timer portraits. Here are the results...

Madonna Jr

So Bella and Linda went shopping a couple days ago, and Bella came home with a bunch of new clothes. They are all really cute except for this t-shirt dress thing with a tulle skirt at the bottom that Bellz apparently picked out herself. Dude, this thing came straight out of the 80's! It's horrible! She sported the dress today, along with black leggings, her pink satin gloves, and a side ponytail. You know, for nostalgia's sake. :)
