Holy moly, so I am obsessed with a new snack these days - it's Poptions Popcorn! Has anyone else ever tried this delectable stuff? Let me describe it for you - basically, it's individual kernals of heaven. And that is all you need to know. This place is located over by Plaza Frontenac and they have every flavor of popcorn you could ever imagine. I went there with Linda on Saturday and picked up 2 different kinds of this wonderful treat - "Over the Top" (which is caramel corn with melted Bissinger's dark and white chocolate on top) and the other flavor was....get this...TOASTED RAVIOLI. Say what??? It was soooo good tho! Love it! I was devouring this stuff so quick that Lenny had to hide it from me. I found it up in the top of the coat closet today when I got home from work, and it is now gone. :) You have got to check this place out dude. I have a feeling you may run into me there.
Poptions Popcorn
It's a new beginning...let's see where this road takes us. It's sure to have it's twists and turns, but we will navigate it together and enjoy the ride every step of the way!

Bootcamp update
Ok I usually don't do this, but I just have to brag for a second, cuz I am sooooo proud of myself! As you know, I started a 6-week boot camp challenge last month. It was incredibly hard at first, but I stuck with it and now here we are in the last week of the camp and I don't want it to be over! It's been an awesome 6 weeks, and I am juuuuust now starting to see results, which is one of the main reasons I am not looking forward to the end of it. I plan to keep working out 3x/week with Valerie and Cheri, the two girls I did the boot camp with, and then we are going to do another boot camp in June hopefully. Onto the bragging... check out how much I improved on our assessments:
Beggining of boot camp:
Sit Ups (full sit ups, not crunches - as many as you could do in 2 min) - 36
Push Ups (the boy kind - as many as you could in 2 min) -21
1-mile run - 10:10
Today:
Sit Ups - 61
Push Ups - 40
1-mile run - ....are you ready for this??? 7:11! Woot woot!!
I am most proud of the time I got on the mile run today. That felt awesome! :) I have to give Susan (one of the other campers) some credit for that though, because she is an amazing runner, and I forced myself to run behind her so I would keep a good pace. If I would have done it on my own, I know I would have been going slower. But STILL! That's like a 3 minute improvement! I still can't get over it. I feel great.
If anybody is interested in doing the boot camp challenge with us in June or July, I highly recommend it. It was a great group of people and I really liked both of our instructors (Lori Patterson and Sammie Bezzole)a lot. I have posted the link below if you want to check it out. Looking forward to the next one. Hoo-aah!

Springtime conglomeration
Been lovin this weather lately! Not lovin the allergies that go with it, but hey what can ya do? I'd take this weather any day over the bone-chilling days we get in winter sometimes! And besides, I was able to sneak into the Dr today to get some meds, so relief is on the way.
We celebrated Easter and Paul's birthday last weekend when Bella was here. Here are some pics from the weekend. Bellz is getting so big. *sigh*

MS Walk 2010
First off I want to thank everyone who donated to me for the MS Walk this year. I raised over $500 this year, thanks to you! Your donations are much appreciated and will be put to great use for the National MS Society.
We had an absolutely gorgeous day for the walk. Could not ask for better weather than this! Here are a few pics from the walk today. Thanks again for your support, and hope you join us next year!

Reminder
Just wanted to remind you that if you were planning on donating to me or my team for the MS Walk, now would be the time to do so - the walk is this weekend! I'm still a little shy of my $500 fundraising goal, but I'm confident I can reach my goal in the next few days with a lil help from my friends. If you are anything like me, you see these things and always plan on donating later, but then forget about it until it's after the fact. So this is your friendly reminder! :) Looks like we are going to have great weather this year, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Where's Bea?
Bwuah ha ha, Jax got his hair cut on Sunday, and now he TOTALLY reminds me of the lil lamb in the previous post. His fur looks just like that baby lamb's! We keep calling him Bea now. : )
