It's a new beginning...let's see where this road takes us. It's sure to have it's twists and turns, but we will navigate it together and enjoy the ride every step of the way!
Good Friday wasn't such a Good Friday for some this year...St Louis got hit by a tornado Friday night that caused quite a bit of damage in Bridgeton and Ferguson. There were a lot of homes and businesses that were destroyed in the area, but thankfully nobody was seriously injured, which is nothing short of a miracle. Lambert Airport was hit pretty bad and was shut down for a couple days while they made the necessary repairs to the building. Here is a short video showing how bad it was at the airport and a few pics my friend Danielle took of her old subdivision in Bridgeton. So glad everyone was okay!
How nobody got hurt when this is what the aftermath looks like, is beyond me! Thank God.
It's hard to see it, but there's a "For Sale" sign in front of this overturned SUV. At least they have a sense of humor!
We had a picnic lunch (albeit a very windy one!) last week out at Zachary's playground, then spent the afternoon out there playin with Bellz. Doesn't she look ever so cute in yellow? That is her color, man.
It's that time again...5th week of boot camp and they made us run Willott Rd this morning. We have to run up and down the hill (more like MOUNTAIN) 5 times, then we do a bunch of core work at the bottom of the hill and then repeat the whole thing. If you've done the camp before, you run the hill 6 or 7 times instead of 5. Oh and did I mention I ran 3.5 miles last night, too? Legs...feel....like....jello. This should be an interesting day. I might need someone to carry me to my car after work today. Not sure if I'll be able to walk.
I flippin LOVE this video. I may have even posted it before, but guess what? You're gettin it again :) If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.
