Pretty please with a baby on top

Last week, Lenny was on Face Time (video chat) with Bella. He was showing her a couple pics that Jodi took of Alex, and then he shut his computer down. They changed the subject and then started talking about something else. At the end of the chat, Bella was wanting to see more pics of Alex so she was trying to get Lenny to fire up his computer again and show her the rest of the pics. He kept telling her "No, my computer is shut off, I'll just let you see them next time you are at our house." All of a sudden she's like "Will you PLEASE turn your computer on and show me the pictures? Pretty please with another baby on top???"

WHAT THE WHUUUUT?!?!?!?! 'Another baby on top' - What does that even MEAN? Where does she come UP with this stuff? hahaha

First attempt at rice cereal

We tried giving Alex rice cereal for the first time this weekend and he seemed to do pretty well with it....for the first couple minutes anyway. Then he just got frustrated and wanted to nurse! Guess we weren't shoveling it in fast enough for him?! lol. We'll try it again tonight and see how it goes...

4 month checkup

Big day today - we did a photo shoot with my friend Jodi (pics will be posted soon) and then had Alex's 4 month checkup this morning. He got two shots today and did much better this time than he did at 2 months. He pretty much slept all afternoon, which I think helped any adverse reactions he may have had. Alex is now 26.75" tall, and weighed in at 20lb, 9oz. This puts him in the 95th percentile for height and 99th percentile for weight. Such a big boy!!! I was half thinking the doc would tell me this kid needs to go on a diet, but on the contrary, he said nothing of the sort. He said overall he's looking great and we can start introducing rice cereal at any time now. Looking forward to that next step!

Exersaucer fun

Alex recently graduated from his bouncer and swing to the bumbo and exersaucer. He seems to enjoy his new toys! We may have to bust out the jumparoo we have sometime in the near future, too. I'm sure with his strong legs he will be bouncing around in there constantly. And we all know this dude could stand to burn off a calorie or two...
