Take me out to the ball game

We had a big boy date with Alex this weekend and took him with us to an afternoon Cards game down at the stadium. Boy did he ever like that! He did great! He was quite interested in the game and surprisingly lasted through 7.5 innings before he started to get a lil restless. Not too shabby for a 2 yr old!

There were two things he loved about the game. First, it was mini bat day, so Alex got a mini Louisville slugger bat when we walked in. He is obsessed with this thing! He's actually sleeping with the bat tonight. Lol. He loves it. Also, he realky liked the "fire" (aka fireworks) in the sky when the Cards hit a homerun,  which happened twice during the game. He was all over that.

Thanks for hooking us up with the tix J&J! We really enjoyed the afternoon.

Alex turns two!

I'm a little late in posting this, partly just due to life, and partly because I lost our card reader in LA and have been having trouble uploading pics from the camera. 

ANYWHO, happy 2nd birthday to our lil man! Alex has brought so much joy into our lives the past couple years. He gets funnier and funnier every day. I seriously love this age! He makes us laugh every day and I love him more than words can express. He is such a blessing! 

We had a great Curious George-themed party and had fun celebrating his second year with our family and friends. Thanks to everyone for coming over to party with us!

Sitting like a boss

Nick is getting pretty good at sitting now! He still loses his balance and tips over every once in a while but for the most part he's got the hang of it now. Yay! Big boy. :)
