Big boy's headed back to school today

Well, Annie has officially resigned and we have re-enrolled Alex back at Great Beginnings for the time being. Today was his first day back at "school," so here is our version of his back to school pics.

Having a 2 year old is so much fun! I wish we could have a camera on Alex 24-7 so we could capture all the funny things he says and does during the day (but only If we could edit out all the tantrums). He is hilarious! 

One of my recent faves occurred yesterday morning. All 4 of us were laying in bed snuggling in the morn like we usually do. Nick was sitting up and started flailing his arms around and kind of hitting me in the chest. All of a sudden Alex sits up and goes, "No no Nicky! That's mommy's boo boos! (Boobies) You're gonna pop her boo boos! Nickyyyyy! Thtop that Nicky!" 

Bahahahaha! I was dyinggggg. Yes Nick, please be mindful of the boo boos. ;)

Warrior Dash

Sorry I've been M.I.A. for a couple weeks...had a lot going on! 

We did the Warrior Dash last weekend. Tons of fun! My only complaint was that you couldn't really run the whole thing. You would run for a bit, then have to stop n wait your turn to do an obstacle. Would be cool to run the whole course as fast as you can, just to see how long it would take ya! 

Jason and his neighbor Shane (in the blue shirt) have already signed up to do another tougher mud run in October, and j is trying to convince me to do that one too. It looks pretty hard core. I dunno, we'll see.

Everything in the mouth

You really gotta watch this kid these days. Nearly everything he sees, and I do mean everything, goes straight in his mouth. I've seen him munching on crumbs off the floor, candy wrappers, fuzz, a clump o Jax hair, Bella's hair ties, shoes, pebbles, and sticks, just to name a few. Oy vey! Makes me feel like my house is filthy! If it's on the floor, Nick will find it. Alex never had an oral fixation like this, so this is something new for us. I feel as tho I've been jamming that paci in his mouth a lot more lately...Not because he's fussy, but just to keep him from putting all this other stuff in his mouth. He sure keeps us on our toes!
