Say what?

I've said it before and I'll say it again...life with a 2 year old is quite comedic. Alex says and does stuff every day that just cracks us up! He's had a couple of doozies in the last few days and I wanted to post them so I wouldn't forget about them.

* Yeterday was my monthly Bunco night with the neighborhood girls. As I was making an appetizer to take with me, I was trying to explain to Alex where I was going. I told him I was going to Bunco tonight and that I would be back afterwhile and would come give him a kiss when I got home. With a concerned look on his face he goes,"No Mommy. I don't want you to go to bumpo. I don't want you to get hurt." Ha, bumpo. Guess in his lil mind, a bunch of us girls were just running around all night bumping into each other.Too cute.

* Bella had to make a diorama of a grasslands scene for a school project last weekend when she was here. Lenny had taken her to the store and bought her this container that had a bunch of little plastic trees and various animals in it. She made her project, which turned out really cute, and Alex and Nick have been playing with all the leftover animals since then. Alex's favorite animal? The "booma" (puma) of course. And he always says the booma is sad because he lost his mommy. When we ask him where his mommy went, he says,"in the fire." Ummmm. Not quite sure how I feel about that.

* He keeps telling me that Lochlan (a kid in his class at school) dressed up as a minjun turtle for Halloween. That would be a ninja turtle.

* Alex was chatting up a storm and playing with his food last night at dinner. Finally Lenny turned and said to him, "Eat your dinner, yo!" And without missing a beat, Alex replied, "I'm not Yo. I'm Alexthander." Bahahaha!

I know there are more Alexisms as of late, but these are the only ones I can think of at the moment. He sure keeps it interesting. :)

So much personality in this crazy lil kid. Love himmmmm!
