Christmas cookies galore

I'm not sure what we had going on but for some reason we never did Christmas cookies out at Dean and Staceys last year. That's one of my fave traditions and I'm happy to report we were back at it again this year. The boys seemed to love it! (Especially  alex). This is SUCH a great age for all things Christmas! the excitement is contagious!!! This was one of my fave Christmases yet. :)

Buddies

That silly old elf

Nell is up to his old antics again...he TP'd the hallway, stairs, and LR a couple weeks ago, pooped choc chips in a glass last week, and now look at the message he left for the boys on their easel today. Ha!

Him and Shell made some pretty cute snowman donuts for the kids (including Austin who spent the night) this past weekend though, so I guess he does have his sweet moments too. ;)

Ya better watch out

Forgot to post these last weekend!

Santa came to the neighborhood (via firetruck) Friday and we went up to the pool to see him. Nick smiled n waved but had no desire to sit on his lap. ;) Alex did great though and told Santa exactly what he wanted for Christmas. Stay tuned to see if he makes the nice list!

Last night we had to take a quick walk up the street cuz the boys were soooo excited to show me all the neighbors' xmas lights. I love experiencing the joy of the season through the boys' eyes. So fun!

You're a popsicle!

So I was rocking Nick the other night and trying to get him to go to sleep and he was chatting up a storm - he was wound up and did NOT want to settle down that night for whatever reason. I started humming a lullaby and he said "no! Stop it mommy!" Lol. So of course being the tease I am, I kept doing it for a couple minutes. ;) Every time I would start humming again, he would holler at me. Finally I told him "You are IMPOSSIBLE!" And he goes, "I want a popsicle!" Bahahaha! Mind you it was nearly 10pm by this time. I could NOT stop laughing. Clearly he thought I was calling him a popsicle. He kept looking at me with his little smirk saying "I want a popsicle" over and over again so he could see my reaction. Hilarious. I was laughing so hard I was crying! That kid is something else.
