Cutthroat kitchen

You can tell Bella has been watching "Cutthroat Kitchen" and all these other cooking shows lately. Here are a few pics of the breakfast she made for the boys last time she was here. A piece o toast topped with sectioned oranges and a ripe raspberry, surrounded by a bed of scrumptious fruit snax with a shmear o peanut butter. She's definitely got the plating down pat! Hahaha. A shmear o pb...  Who DOES that? Chef Bella, that's who. Bon appetit!

The house of funk

Man, we have had a house full of germs for the last week or so. I had strep, then Alex got Influenza Type A, then both Nick and Lenny got a combo of those too. I must have caught a 2nd strain of something the boys had, Cuz I was starting to feel better, but now I'm kinda back at square one again. Boys have still had fevers off and on the past couple days, and it's literally been over a week that we've been down and out with all of this. We've been a hot mess! Silver lining is it should hopefully pass thru all of us and then we'll all be healthy for Christmas. :)

Even poor Nell got sick. :(

A visit from those Orf kids

Wow, I've been slackin on the blog posts lately. Need to get back into the swing of things.

Last week we watched Kendall and Austin for a few days while Jason and Janine celebrated their 10th anniversary on the beach in Cabo. Happy anniversary to one of my fave couples evaaaa! So glad you guys were able to get away and enjoy each other's company for a few days sans kids. Meanwhile back here in MO, we had a good time with a houseful o children. I hope they liked staying at casa Ulanoski as much as we enjoyed having them! :)
