A4TA

Several months ago, a buddy of Lenny's from high school contacted him to see if we wanted to be involved in a charity bags tournament benefitting several local Autism charities. Without hesitation, Lenny signed us up. The Aiming for the Answer tournament was held yesterday in Kirkwood Park, and this thing was way bigger than we could have ever imagined. It is by far the largest bags tournament in the Midwest - they had over 240 teams sign up this year! Our job was to set up all our courts and run the consolation tournament. We had a total of 52 teams for the consolation tourney, and although we had a few lessons learned for next year, everything went well. Our boards also doubled as the practice courts and warm up area. We were so happy to be a part of it - not only for the exposure, but to help the charities as well. This is definitely something we'd like to be involved in next year, and I would LOVE to see our MS charity tournament grow into something like this! It was amazing. Here are a few pics from the tourney.
