16 weeks
I am totes copying off Janine here. She found some bloggers that post a belly pic and do a questionnaire every month during their pregnancy ( well, honestly they do it every week, but I decided I'm just gonna do it monthly ) and I thought it was a cool idea, so here goes!
HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU: 16 weeks
MATERNITY CLOTHES: Not yet, but getting close
STRETCH MARKS: Nope. Woot!
SYMPTOMS: None really, other than getting tired a lot easier/faster than I used to, and I'm starting to get out of breath doing simple things like carrying Alex to the car or walking up the stairs. I also get sharp pains in my sides if I stand up too quickly or stretch the wrong way. (this is called round ligament pain)
SLEEP: I was having a really hard time sleeping a few weeks ago. I would wake up around 2 am to go pee, then not be able to go back to sleep. That has gone away now though, thank goodness. Guess i just had too much on my mind at the time. I've been worn out and sleeping like a baby lately. Also, I'm about a week away from not being able to sleep on my stomach anymore, and that's gonna kill me. :(
BEST MOMENT THIS WEEK: Starting my new job! :)
HAVE U TOLD FAM/FRIENDS: Yep. Everybody but my boss knows at this point. I'm going to wait another week or so til he gets to know me a lil better before I drop that bomb. Sooooo nervous about that. ( Only bc i will be out on maternity leave during Account Management's busiest time of year ) Ugh
MISS ANYTHING: B to the e to the e to the r
MOVEMENT: I thought I felt a couple little woopty woos here and there, but nothing that made me say "oh that was he baby" with confidence...so I am gonna say no at this point.
FOOD CRAVINGS: Ice cream! Typical, right? Well at least it's not powdered white donuts. Yet!
ANYTHING MAKE YOU QUEASY: Doesn't make me queasy per se, but the smell of garlic has kinda turned me off lately.
STARTED SHOWING YET: Definitely getting there! Sometimes I feel like I just look fat. Other times my belly looks more round and I wonder how people could NOT know I'm pregnant
BABY IS A-----?????? Dunno yet but we have scheduled the 20w ultrasound, which is the one where they can usually tell the sex of the baby. U/S is June 13th @ 11am.
BELLY BUTTON IN OR OUT: In
WEDDING RING ON OR OFF: On
LOOKING FORWARD TO: Making a final decision on what we are going to be doing as far as a house goes. Just want to be DONE with all of that.

News, news, and more news!
Sorry I've been m.i.a. lately...LOTS of exciting stuff going on in Ulanoskiland as of late! First and foremost for those who have not heard yet, we are expecting again! We found out on Easter weekend that our family of four will soon become a fam of five! I am due right around Halloween. October 29th is the official due date, but we will likely go on October 25th so that Bella can be here for the birth too. So far I am feeling great, and just like last time I have no complaints at all. Not yet anyway. I kinda heart being preggers. The whole experience is simply fascinating to me. As if that isn't exciting enough, Janine is pregnant too! Ahhhhh! How fun is that that we get to be prego together? Soooo neat! She is just 2 weeks behind me, with a due date of 11/12/13. Yay for baby bffs! :)
So with that being said, it's kinda obvious that the next step for us is to find a bigger house. We done outgrown the current place. We have been looking (And looking. And looking.) at places for the last couple months and I think have finally agreed that the best choice for us is to do new construction. We've researched just about very builder imaginable and have found two floor plans in particular that have piqued our interest. We are meeting with a builder tomorrow that does a lot of custom stuff to see if they can build one of these models or see if they have anything similar. Wish we could fast forward thru that whole process and just be settled into the new home by the time the baby arrives. Fat chance of that happening though! Oh well, it will all work out one way or another.
I also recently got a big promotion at work. Told you we had a lot going on lately!!! I started my new position as an Account Manager yesterday. With this position comes a lot more responsibility, but at the same time, I will also have way more flexibility which will be a very nice change. No more filling out project time and trying to make up reasons for what you were working on for every second you are not in the database! (rolling eyes) No more clocking out for lunch and then getting yelled at because you are 15 min short of a 40 hour work week! It will be nice to work for a department that actually treats us like adults and not kindergartners! Looking forward to the change...and the challenge.
In other news, I just got back from a week-long girls trip to Madeira beach with my mom, Stacey, Jane, Lois, Linda, and Leah. It was so fun! Very relaxing. We laid out on the beach every day, enjoyed the FL winery, did some shopping, sang karaoke, and watched the dolphins (and even a manatee!) from the beach. I'm so glad I got the chance to go and unwind before starting the new job. I thought about bringing Alex with me, but when I found out I was prego again, I decided to be selfish and just go solo so I could relax and enjoy a nice quiet week with no responsibilities. Lord only knows how long it will be before I get the chance to do that again! Thank you Lenny for letting me go be a beach bum for a week while you held down the fort and took care of Zandy pants solo all week long. You are a saint! Love you shooga booga!
I misplaced my card reader on the trip, so I won't be able to post any pics til I get a replacement. Boo. :( Totes bummed bout that.
