Kendall's first sleepover

We had the pleasure of having Kendall spend the night with us last Friday. I had originally planned to watch K at her house that night but we had Bellz too so Lenny suggested just keeping K overnight here with us and Jason and Janine were down with that. The girls had so much fun together! It is so cute to hear them giggling about who knows what :)  Here are a few pics I took while K was here. She is really getting such a personality now and she's a total sweetheart. Love that yiddle girl!

Bellz and I had a lunch/play date last time she was here. We went to Main St for lunch where she had the most amazing grilled PB&J sammy from Garden Cafe A la Fleur. Whaddya know? Riverside Sweets was on the way back to the car so we stopped for ice cream (duh).  After lunch we headed to the playground at Blanchette park, which is awesome by the way, and played for a while til we were nice n sweaty. Final stop was Blanchette pool. Awesome afternoon!

Went boating and camping with the 'rents and the kiddos over the 4th of July. This was our first time ever taking Bellz (and Jax for that matter!) camping, and I'd have to say it was a success. Well, apart from the racoons getting into our cooler and eating our hot dog buns, lunch meat, and Nutella pupcakes that is. We still had plenty o food though, have no fear!

Most of our time was spent torcheedoing, cruising around the lake, and just swimming and playing in the coves. Bellz and Carty had a blast! Think their favorite thing was taking turns driving the boat under Grumpa's supervision. So fun! We are going up again in a couple weeks to get one last boating weekend in before Bellz starts kindergarten in August. Whaaaaa! She is getting too big :(

Our camp guard dog. He didn't do such a good job seeing as tho he didn't even wake up when the coons were in the campsite. (rolling eyes) At least he's cute. :)



Carson's 10th birthday

We went out to Dean and Stacey's this afternoon for a fish fry to celebrate Carson's 10th birthday. Sheesh. Can't believe he is already that old! It's crazy. nyway, the best part of this was that Keith came home for a surprise visit for C's bday. Yay! Happy birthday to the best nephew ever! Seriously. Love this kid :)

Ain't no party like a Cochran party

Went to Donnie and Jen's annual 4th of July party on the 3rd, and it rained all day. AGAIN. Didn't stop the kids from putting on their suits and running around in the yard though. They had a blast! (as did the adults)
Maybe next year we'll actually have decent weather and get to play some yard games and watch the O'Fallon fireworks like we intend to every year?! Oh well, rain or shine, we always have fun hangin out with our peeps!

Linda's 60th bday

On July 2nd, we had a little party for Linda's 60th. She knew we were doing something, but didn't know exactly what, and I think she really enjoyed her special day with her family and close friends. Here are a few pics!
