I came downstairs one morning to find Alex standing up on the couch all by himself looking out the window.

Ok, not really. He may have been posed. But whatevs, it's still cute :)

Best Buds

Alex has recently started to take more of an interest in Jax. His eyes will follow Jax all around the room, and he'll squeal and coo sometimes when Jax comes close by. Hopefully someday they can be best buds. For right now, Jax is just going to have to put up with that cute little squeaky being that slobbers all over him and tries to yank his fur out.

Pretty sure Alex came away with a handful of fur after this one. Love the look on Jax's face. haha



My lil sweet pea

We hit yet another milestone tonight - Alex had his first taste of solid food! (well, not including rice cereal.) We went with peas for his first veggie, and he really liked them. I have a feeling this dude is gonna enjoy anything we put in his mouth tho ;)

 Hmmm, this tastes a little different than the cereal I'm used to.

It was actually pretty chilly a couple days this week, which means I got to bust out some of Alex's fall outfits. Woot! This shirt is from his "Aunt Karen" (Stacey's sister) in Colorado. Such a simple outfit, but I thought he looked absolutely adorbs in it. He looks like a mini college student or something! I tried to get a few pics in the matching hoodie, but all he wanted to do was eat it, so it was all covered in slobber. Come to think of it, so is the shirt. Oh well!

My handsome lunch date

We took advantage of the gorgeous weather yesterday and walked to Fitz's in the loop for lunch with Linda. Unfortunately, Paul had to work. Boo. Anyway, the weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed spending time outside. Alex loves his walks. Well really, he loves doing ANYTHING outside. Takes  after his mama and daddy. :)

These pics were all taken right before he spilled a big mug of rootbeer all over himself. SOMEONE put the mug in front of him, thinking it would be cute to take a pic of him "holding" the mug of rootbeer. How was I supposed to know he was strong enough to lift that big ol glass mug up and dump it out? Sheesh. That dude's got some guns! I underestimated his strength.

They didn't allow strollers in the dining room, so Mr. Alex got to sit like a big boy in a highchair all by himself for the first time. Rock star!

Weather was gross all weekend, but that didn't stop us from havin fun! We spent all afternoon Sunday at the St Louis Mills killin time. You know, practicing backflips n whatnot. :)
