Artsy fartsy

Babes has been hanging out in the toddler room at school quite a bit lately. They usually move kids from the infant to the toddler room as soon as they turn one, but Dawn, the daycare director, asked if we minded if they moved Alex up a little early. "Go for it," we said.

They do the move nice and gradually, which is great so the kids don't flip out about the new surroundings. At first he would just hang out with the toddlers for an hour here or there. Now he's in that room for about 2 hours every morning. Over the next week or so, he'll probably start eating lunch over there too. It's nice that they do it that way....less stressful all around when its a gradual change!

ANYWAY, they do a lot more activities over in the toddler room. Its cute because Alex is already starting to bring home these little projects ("masterpieces" if you will) that they have done during the day. Obviously he has some major help at this point, but still cool they expose him to this stuff at such an early age!

RIGHT? I mean do you see his use of color there? Brilliant, just brilliant.
