U2 appearing soon

I haven't given a pregnancy update in quite a while and quite frankly, this may be the last update I post on the topic because this baby's going to be here before we know it! I am full term now (how did that happen so quickly???) so we're ready for him to come at any time. I had my 37 week appointment today with Dr. Cartwright and everything is looking good. My blood pressure was normal and the baby is still very active, although he doesn't have anywhere to go now so most of the time I'm getting kicked and jabbed all up in my ribs or you'll see an arm or foot move horizontally across my tummy.  I'm actually measuring 2 weeks ahead (my belly is the size it should be at 39 weeks), so Im pretty sure Im cookin up another big one in there. My feet and legs get a little puffy from day to day but overall I am nowhere NEAR was swollen as I was when I was pregnant with Alex. I can even still wear my wedding ring! Woot! I've had another easy pregnancy, but as with the end of any pregnancy, I'm at the uncomfortable stage now. I've been having quite a few contractions over the past few days (several so strong they tooky breath away) but nothing at regular intervals,  so not time to call the doc just yet. I'm also feeling a lot more pressure down in my nether region and I feel like I'm walking funny sometimes because of it. Oh the joys of pregnancy! Dr. C thinks he may be coming before the scheduled c section on 10/25. I told her about the contractions of late and she asked, "Do you want me to check your cervix to see if you're dilated at all yet?" And I replied "No thank you." Ha. Those internals hurt! Plus there's really no point in doing one since I'm having a C anyway.  Doesn't matter if I'm dilated or not.... he'll be here when he wants to be here. Otherwise he'll be evicted on 10/25. ;) Wish us luck!

Also, just wanted to mention that as of today, my good pal NeeNee is now on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. Her blood pressure has been pretty high at her last couple appts so her doc wants her to take it easy so she doesnt get Pre-eclamptic. J9 is worried she'll get bored but i told her to rest up and enjoy the last couple weeks of peace and quiet. She is not technically due until 11/12, but may end up getting induced and having her lil guy before I do! Crazy! Guess its a race now. Last one with a baby still in their belly is a rotten egg!!! :)
